    A urinary tract infection (UTI) can be identified by monitoring the cat's bathroom activities and water intake. If there is blood in the urine, or if the cat strains or cries out while urinating, or displays excessive thirst, suspect a UTI.

    Baytril is designed to be rapidly absorbed from the digestive tract and usually penetrates into all tissues of a cat within two hours. Deliver the medicine regularly for the full effect.

Side Effects

    Baytril carries some possible side effects, including vomiting and diarrhea in cats.

Drug Interactions

    Supplements that contain minerals such as aluminum and iron can interfere with the proper absorption of Baytril.

Duration
