Overview
Brought on by an infestation of mites, mange can lead to hair loss and extreme itchiness in dogs. If your dog is afflicted with mange, a homemade cure can clean it up, leaving you and your dog happier. The process takes between one and two months, and is painless for the dog.
Step 1
Prepare a mixture of hydrogen peroxide and water by adding a half liter of the bottled peroxide to every liter of water.
Step 2
Add three tablespoons of borax for every liter of mixture.
Step 3
Apply the mixture to your dog, rubbing it into the coat.
Step 4
Allow your dog to dry naturally.
Step 5
Repeat Steps 1 through 4 every week until the condition is cured.
