Instructions

  • Step 1:
Spend one-on-one time daily with your puppy. The time that you spend interacting with your puppy will help strengthen the bond and improve your relationship.
  • Step 2:
Walk your dog daily. Not only will this give your puppy the exercise that it needs, it will also help him understand that you are in control. Controlling your dog on his leash will help him learn to respect your leadership.
  • Step 3:
Groom your dog on a daily basis. Either brush your puppy or give him a full-body rubdown. Be sure to handle all four paws. The contact between you and your puppy will create a strong bond.
  • Step 4:
Stroke, pat and gently groom your puppy. While doing this be sure to talk in a calm soothing voice. The relationship between you and your puppy will grow strong because of times like these.
  • Step 5:
Reward your puppy for good behavior. The reward will reinforce the puppy's behavior and will strengthen your bond. If your dog's behavior is unacceptable, be clear and firm in your reprimand.
