Instructions

Things You’ll Need:

  • Your toddler
  • Hairbrush
  • TV set

It's Time to Brush Some Hair

  • Step 1:
Sit your toddler in front of his favorite TV program before you begin to brush his hair. This will help keep your toddler still so that you can get to work.
  • Step 2:
First pull the hairbrush through your hair, making a show of it for your toddler. She will think having her hair brushed is a fun game, and will then let you bring the brush to her own hair.
  • Step 3:
Start brushing your toddler's hair from the back. Go in very small sections when brushing your toddler's hair, and keep it gentle.
  • Step 4:
Move the brushing to the front and the sides to finish off brushing your toddler's hair.

Tips & Warnings

  • When it comes to the brushing of your toddler's hair, if you make it a game, she will look forward to it.
  • Go slowly when brushing your toddler's hair. There may be food matted in it that will cause the brush to pull.
