How to Get in Touch With Your Animal Side

  • Step 1:
    Observe animals. You will see that they act on their instinct, They act rather than procrastinate. Animals also do not live in fear. When they need to retreat to heal a wound, they do so.
  • Step 2:
    Incorporate some animal characteristics into your life, try to follow your instincts more. Lead a less fear based life if you do not already do so.
  • Step 3:
    If you are able to do so and have the time to look after one, bring an animal into your life such as a dog or a cat. Learn about the unconditional love that animals give.
  • Step 4:
    If you are unable to look after an animal, think about sponsoring one or find out about doing some voluntary work in an animal center.
  • Step 5:
    Find out what your totem animal in spirit is and nurture your relationship with this animal.
