Things You’ll Need:

  • Step 1:
Realize that dingoes take care of most of their grooming needs themselves and are unique in that they have no tell-tale "doggy odor." Your pet dingo is a pleasantly clean canine!
  • Step 2:
Obtain a good dog brush. Your pet dingo has relatively thick fur that protects his wild brothers and ancestors from injuries. Though not required, a good daily brushing will keep his coat clean, dust-free and the oils dispersed throughout it. Brushing also increases the bond between you and your dingo, while giving him a good massage!
  • Step 3:
Trim her nails with large dog nail trimmers if she doesn't get a chance to wear them down naturally. Read the instructions on the trimmer packaging carefully and follow its instructions. Note that dingoes don't have dew claws, so no claw removal is ever necessary.
  • Step 4:
Use his diet to keep him looking good! Make sure you feed your dingo a high-quality, balanced canine diet. You can add supplements to combat itchy skin or a dry coat. Talk to your vet about recommendations, or explore supplements online at K-9 Power or at your favorite pet store.
