How to Half Cab Down Stairs

Step 1:
Practice your half cabs so that you are confident you can land them every time (or most of the time) before venturing half cabbing down stairs. You don't want to find yourself panicking about what comes next when going down a flight of stairs. You want to be absolutely confident you have that trick nailed before doing anything else.
Step 2:
Find a good flight of stairs to half cab down. Start with something modest, like a flight of stairs that has only two or three steps. Beginning to half cab down the equivalent of Mount Everest would not be a good very wise.
Step 3:
Go down the flight of steps with an Ollie first. This way you can get an idea of the timing as well as the impact when you land on the bottom of the flight of steps. Once you have done this a few times, get ready to do a half cab down the steps.
Step 4:
Approach the steps in the same manner as when you Ollied them. This time, do the half cab while you're in the air, and make a point of staying centered over your board.
Step 5:
Land with both feet on the bolts. Landing in any other part of the board can risk breaking it.
