How to Hug a Dog

Instructions

Step 1:
Sit on the ground and call your dog while waving a big, fat steak bone or other enticing treat.
Step 2:
While he laps at the treat, start to scratch his back and ears.
Step 3:
Wrap one arm around the top of the dog and the other on the side his head while you keep scratching and petting.

Tips & Warnings

If you have two dogs, leave one arm open so they both can be hugged at the same time.
Brace yourself so you don’t fall over when the dog returns your affection by lapping your face.
