How to Keep a Cat Dandruff-Free

By missbon

Instructions

Things You’ll Need:

  • Step 1:
In drier weather, use a humidifier in the part of your home in which your cat spends the most time. Use for a few hours a day, not continuously. Constant moisture may produce mold.
  • Step 2:
Gently brush or comb your cat to stimulate the skin and distribute the oils.
  • Step 3:
Feed your cat a special cat food blend for a healthy coat. Or feed your cat canned food 2 or 3 times a week, which is moister and has more fat.
  • Step 4:
Buy a special skim moisturizer sold at pet stores and apply as instructed.

Tips & Warnings

  • If in doubt, contact your vet.
