Instructions
Step 1:
Twist two pipe cleaners together to make the body of an animal. Cut a small piece of pipe cleaner and twist it into a circle for the head. Twist the ends of it around the body to join the pieces.
Step 2:
Cut a long pipe cleaner in half. Take one half of the pipe cleaner and bend it in half. Twist the short piece around the long pipe cleaner to make two front legs.Step 3:
Take the second half of the pipe cleaner and bend it in half. Twist the second short piece around the long pipe cleaner to make two back legs. This is the basic four legged pipe cleaner animal shape.Step 4:
Make a monkey by using brown pipe cleaners. Make the arms and legs very long for swinging. Twist two of the legs upward to make arms. Twist a long brown pipe cleaner around the body of the animal and curve it into a long tail.Step 5:
Add small magnets to the legs of the basic animal shape to make paws for a dog or a cat. Use a short piece of pipe cleaner for a tail. Twist it onto the back of the body. Use a longer piece to make a cat’s tail. Twist a small piece in another color and wrap it around the neck for a collar.Step 6:
Cut two tiny pieces of pipe cleaner. Bend them into small triangles and twist the ends onto the body to make ears.
