How to Make an Exotic Animals Chart

By eHow Education Editor

Instructions

  • Step 1:
Get blank poster paper or open a new document in a computer graphics program. Add the title, "Chart of Exotic Animals," somewhere on the document. Draw two rows of six rectangles.
  • Step 2:
Insert a picture of a giant panda. Beneath the title, explain that the endangered giant pandas spend about 12 hours per day eating their favorite food, bamboo.
  • Step 3:
Draw a picture of a black-handed spider monkey. State that these exotic animals live in large groups and eat mostly fruit and vegetation.
  • Step 4:
Add pictures of zebra duikers. Beneath the picture, explain that these exotic animals get their food by eating fruits and leaves dropped on the ground by monkeys and birds.
  • Step 5:
Include a picture of a walrus. Explain that the skin of these animals becomes pale in cold water and changes to red in warm water.
  • Step 6:
Continue with a picture of an aye-ayes monkey. Affix a short sentence stating that these endangered monkeys live only in Madagascar and eat insect larvae.
  • Step 7:
Finish the chart with a picture of the white rhinoceros. Clarify that these endangered species use mud baths to cool down their bodies and remove harmful parasites.
