How to Use Lemon Juice to Get Your Dog to Quit Barking

Things You’ll Need:

Lemon juice

Step 1:
If your dog is in a crate and barking, you need to take her out of the crate and tell her, “Quiet.” Don’t give her any positive attention, such as petting or hugging her. Simply take her out of the crate and tell her, “Quiet.”
Step 2:
Take the lemon juice bottle and squirt it in the dog’s mouth.
Step 3:
Put her back in her crate and shut the door.
Step 4:
Leave the room.
Step 5:
When she barks again, repeat steps 1 through 4 until the dog learns not to bark when you say, “Quiet.”
