How to Walk a Baby on a Rainy Day
By Juliet Myfanwy Johnson
Instructions
Step 1:
Put your baby in the backpack or snuggli, put an umbrella over both of your heads, and take off. Make sure to bundle up your baby before packing them in (especially covering the baby's head with a hat), and bundling up yourself. Walking with the baby on your back will be a thrill for the baby, good exercise for you and both of you can enjoy the weather.Step 2:
Head out to the mall. Taking a baby for a long stroll in the mall is a great way to get some exercise and see some new sights while keeping dry on a rainy day.Step 3:
Put your baby on their rolling, ride-on toy and attach a leash or rope to the front. Set the baby on their toy, and do circles inside the house like you're on a race track. Your baby will love this activity, since they are low to the ground and can watch the wheels spinning underneath them.Step 4:
Head to a museum or art gallery. You can walk the baby through the museum and enjoy soaking up the culture while your baby soaks up the atmosphere.Step 5:
If you're daring, go to an ice rink. Most ice rinks have sleds you can rent for babies. You can skate, while pulling you baby behind you on the ice.
