Pill
Fingers
Cat
Pill popper or edge of pen

How to safely give pills to cats

Step 1:
Get pill in hand, or put on edge of pill popper or pen.
Step 2:
Scruff cat on back of neck....they are used to this from their mothers. Open mouth of cat by manipulating jaw.
Step 3:
Drop pill on the back of the tongue in the MIDDLE. If you do it to the side, cat will spit it out.
Step 4:
Close cat mouth, and rub bottom of neck till tongue comes out and 'licks' the top of the mouth. THEN---look to see if pill is around.

Tips & Warnings

Cats can be cooperative with this if you are gentle.
Sometimes you have to be more assertive than gentle.
