Today, Free Kibble will donate 100% of the kibble raised on www.freekibble.com and www.freekibblekat.com to the animal relief efforts in Vermont and North Carolina who are in great need of help in the aftermath of Hurricane Irene. "Halo, Purely for Pets" will once again match FreeKibble.com's donation if they hit a million pieces for the day!

Free Kibble will be donating the food directly to the Central Vermont Humane Society, and the Fayetteville (NC) Animal Protection Society, to support their efforts in caring for the 100's of dogs and cats impacted by the storm. They'll also be distributing the food to additional animal welfare groups struggling in the aftermath of the storm.

I do this every day! Please take the time to feed the dogs and cats in shelters. It only takes about 30 seconds, and really makes a difference.
