Dallas' 1st Yappy Birthday Paw-ty!

Hey doggy pals and humans - Guess what, I had my 1st Yappy Birthday Paw-ty last week. It was a pawsitively, tail waggin', doggone good time! My mom made pup-cakes for me and my doggy pals and a carrot cake shaped like, well, ME for her human pals.

I bet you remember me from when I was the featured puppy, but now I am a big boy! It seems like only yesterday when my siblings and I were just two days old, abandoned on the side of the road. Luckily I was rescued and adopted by my mom, phew! Make sure you encourage your friends and family to always ADOPT! Take me for example… I now enjoy a dog-gone blessed life in California – AND I get to hang out at the Daily Puppy headquarters.

Anyways, enough about me ….I thought it would be fun to share some photos from my Paw-ty & the pup-cake recipe – because it was yummy and mom said it was super easy.

Pup-Cakes Recipe

• 1 cup flour
• 1tsp baking soda
• 1/4 cup peanut butter
• 1/4 cup vegetable oil
• 1 cup shredded carrots
• 1 tsp. vanilla
• 1/3 cup honey
• 1 egg

Mix flour and baking soda. Add remaining ingredients. Pour into cupcake tins and bake at 350 degrees for 25-30 minutes. Puree cottage cheese in blender for icing or use yogurt. Yum!
