Biography: Barney is our most recently acquired family member. He is a stray, found on the side of a convenience store, and boy was he a mess. I saw the potential in him and brought him home. Obviously he has Dachshund in him and the vet said probably beagle also. He is VERY fun-loving and does not stop until he goes to bed. He chases any kind of light; flashlight, reflections of any kind, etc. He loves to chase the ball. He sits up and begs wih his little pigeon-toes tootsies! He's big on cuddling, preferring the armpit or the rear end to snuggle up to! He's been really good for Zephyr and her separation anxiety. Barney was named by my husband after Barney Rubble from the Flinstones cartoon because of his short and stubby stature. He may be short but he thinks he's a big dog! We love him very much!
