Biography: Please meet Samantha, a very sweet and ridiculously loving Morkie. She was born on February 9, 2008 and she came into my world on April 14, 2008 when she flew from Missouri to Pittsburgh on her first big girl adventure. She arrived to her Dad and I at 2.5 months weighing in at a whopping 2.5 pounds and today at 8 months old she is 7.8 pounds already weighing more than both her Mommy (Maltese) and Daddy (Yorkie). As I said, she arrived in Pittsburgh and we then drove her back to her new home in Morgantown, WV. My husband is from St. Louis and I from Philadelphia however our work brings us to WVU. She arrived home to meet her 2 cat brothers and her 3 cat sisters... I can't say they instantly hit it off however today one might think Sam is more of a cat than a dog... She bathes herself and the cats and refuses to eat doggy food. Some days she makes her brothers and sisters crazy but more often than not they love her just as they love each other. Sam has graduated from Puppy School and will begin her continuing education on October 13th of this month. She's terribly excited to go back to school (As we call it, she's going back from her Master's in Puppy Behavior!) and see her puppy friends, especially her 40 pound friends, Kobe and Frankie. One of Sam's favorite things to do is to play with and scare dogs 10 times her size... Silly, fearless, Samantha. Sam has brought a whole new meaning to what happiness stands for in my husbands and my heart. Sure, some might think it's crazy to love a dog (and cat, don't want to leave them out) as much as we love her and our thoughts to that are... let them think we're crazy! We're in Morkie love and we're proud of it!
