All in the Family

Biography: Winnie is a 7 year old Golden Retriever. We found Winnie 5 years ago when my dad got a phone call from one of his patients (he's a family practitioner) telling him that they have a dog that we might be interested in. We weren't looking for a dog at the time, since we already had two, but we decided to go out of curiousity. When we arrived, she told us that a couple of teenagers dropped Winnie off, saying that they were saving her from their dad who was going to shoot her. Winnie was almost 2 years old at the time. Now, Winnie is loving every minute of life. She loves exploring our grove with our black lab, Jack and our poodle mix, Gracie. She also absolutely adores water and baths. Winnie is the sweetest dog I've met so far, and she will be your best friend if you give her a belly rub. She is a little dog in a big dog's body, she thinks that she is still able to fit on my lap, even though she is 85 lbs! I thank the teenagers that saved her from getting shot, and giving us the sweetest girl.
