All in the Family

Biography: We adopted Apollo from a friend who had rescued him from the wild a few years earlier. She has three Jack Russell Terriers and, although Apollo did not fight with them, they were so high strung that he had become very timid. He also had been entirely fed on table scraps, so he developed quite a weight problem. We've helped him to slim down a bit, especially after last year's bout with pancreatitis, but it's an ongoing battle because he snubs dog food unless he's starving. Apollo is not the sharpest tool in the shed, but sweet as can be. He's out-lived most of his timidity, and has become a part of our family.
