After holding out for over a year, I finally moved close enough to work to let myself get a dog. Auggie caught my eye right away when I went to walk around an adoption event and we've been inseparable ever since. He loves everyone and is a truly wonderful companion for days out on the lake or lazy nights on the couch.

He has what we've been calling a "half-bark". It's pretty squeaky and he rarely uses it! He does a lot of growling though, especially when he's playing tug-of-war. He loves to tell us that he's going to win.
