Aura is my angel. She was rescued from Country Safe N' Sound Dog Rescue as a puppy along with her sister. She is famous for her eyes, and is a very affectionate girl. She was the one who picked me when I went to buy a dog. I was planning on getting a little Jack Russell, but this little girl came running while I was looking at the Jack Russell puppies in the horse stable next to her. She had another little lighter puppy hanging into her ear as she came bounding over. I couldn't resist taking both the little babies. She is a Siberian Husky who loves to be off leash and free. She only likes being on the leash is there is another dog around. She comes running over as soon as there's another dog in sight to have her leash put on and then she'll pull toward the other dog and want to be let off. This was a habit she picked up from when she was a puppy. She is very happy to protect both me and her sister. Aura's name was Aurora, but she is now called Aura. Nobody ever uses her full first name, so she doesn't come to it unless you're really mad at her. She is a hard dog to fool, she can tell if you're angry or happy just by looking in your eyes. Some people think she is being dominant when she stares at them, but she's trying to see how they feel. Some dog trainers who I have went to (To get the girls more socialized and things) told me that she was a dominant dog and should be muzzled until she stops staring. Of course I didn't listen, because she's the follower. Willow, Aura's sister, is the dominant one. Aura is a very special girl and helped my nan walk again. Aura is a healthy girl and should be around for a long, long time!
