We feel the exact same way about our new shelter pup!!! We also had a scare with some sicknesses when we brought him home, he was stuck in the vet with severe dehydration for 4 days!!! Then we got doggie lice(all cured), and ringworm, too!!! Such trouble, these dogs!!! Baylee is just adorable and I am very happy you gave her a forever home, just like I did for my little Nalu!!!:):):)
