Bear is a rescue dog we adopted in May 2007. We have no idea what breed(s) he is, though, so if you have any ideas, throw them my way! A lot of people think he has some ridgeback in him, since he gets a giant ridge when he's scared or excited! He loves never-ending games of fetch and is a wonderful example to his little "brother" Copper.

He is very cute!!! My puppy looks a little like Bear too, unfortunatly we are in the same boat as you, with not knowing what breed(s) he is.He is very handsome and the best of luck to you and your little man.

Bear you sure are cute. You have those wild stand up ears like our Sadie does. We don't know where she gets them from either!! Aren't they just so cute though...........!!

I am in the same boat just took in an abandoned puppy a few weeks ago ..and people have suggested she is a ridgeback mix.. and yesterday she got scared over something and i saw a ridge stand up staright down her spine.. which kinda confirmed it for me xx
