All in the Family

Biography: Hi! My name is Bijia and I am a Stumpy Tailed Australian Cattle Dog! I love my mom, Lauren and my dad Jeremy! I am a rescue from Orlando, FL. When I was found, I had a piece of rope that had been tied around my neck so tightly that it grew into the skin, and had to be surgically removed. Even though I was neglected and treated so badly by humans when I was younger, I am the sweetest dog and love to meet new people and dogs! I am very good natured and well behaved, and I love doing obedience and tricks for my mom. I am so trustworthy that I do not need to be on a leash, and follow my mom everywhere! When she was in college, I used to walk to campus with her and go to classes! Everyone loved me so much that I was allowed into the buildings, and would sit at my mom's feet during the lectures. I am about 15 years old now, but my mom can't be too sure because the shelter I was rescued from wasn't quite sure how old I was. My first owner was my mom's aunt Becky who loved me just as much as my mom, but then had to give me to her because of a new living situation. I love going for walks and car rides, and I LOVE chewing on rawhides! I like to sleep a lot and I snore really loudly! I love to relax with my back legs sticking out behind me like in my profile picture. My I love baths and grooming and massages, but my absolute favorite thing is greeting my mom when she gets home because I missed her so much! I am the friendliest dog ever, and am loved very much! My mom is even getting a tattoo of a portrait of me, the same picture that is my profile pic!
