American Pit Bull Terrier / American Bulldog

Blanca is in a foster home, and is currently not at the shelter. Please find contact information below, thanks. Blanca is a gorgeous, snow white, one year old girl with a charming personality. She is a non-stop tail wagger who thrives on affection. She fancies herself a lap dog and would like nothing better than to crawl up on your lap to cuddle and snuggle with you. Blanca is a smart girl who already knows sit. She will benefit from more training, as no one in her past ever really bothered to take the time to teach her much. She is so eager to please, she should be an excellent student. UPDATE 3/26/10 - Blanca just graduated from her basic manners obedience class - good girl! You can see more photos of this beauty here. Blanca loves to play and be on the go. She enjoys walks and will make a first-rate strolling, hiking or jogging partner. As long as she's with you, Blanca is ready, willing and able to go along and provide companionship. Children at least 10 years old, a compatible dog companion, and possibly a dog-savvy cat would all be ok in her new home. This happy-go-lucky girl is sure to bring a smile to your face. So don't be Grumpy, Dopey, or Bashful, come meet Snow White Blanca, and once you do, you're sure to be Happy. If you don't have Pit Bull breed experience, please do some research before inquiring. Some great resources include Pit Bull Rescue Central (PBRC) and BAD RAP . Please note that Pit Bulls do best as either an only dog, or, with a compatible dog of the opposite sex, in the home. Thanks!
