i am very sad! i lost a dog like that only 2 years ago! it was the saddest thing i have ever experienced! i bet right now he is standing with you... watching you... loveing you more than ever..... never forget him & he will never forget you!

:( i just lost my boomer on Sunday and was doing a search for other dogs named boomer. I had him for 7 years. my Godmother took me to the pound for my 15th birthday to adopt a puppy, and Boomer adopted me. The minute i saw him he got so happy that i just had to visit with him and when they opened the cage he ran to me and was jumping all over me.. We automatically knew he was mine and i was his. This Sunday we found him laying in his kennel out back. I still havent finished crying. I wish i was with him when he went. But we ended up taking him back to the humane society on Sunday right where we started from and they are going to give me his ashes. Your memory book and shadow box of your own boomer have given me some ideas on how i can honor his memory. Thank you.

Boomers story broke my heart, how hard it is to put your best friend down, but knowing they are running free makes your heart feel better. I bet Boomer found my girl Hannah and they are buds.... Boomer sounds like the best. You have my deepest sympathies.

im sorry for your loss i lost me dog scobby dooby dooby for short n easter morning when i woke up to give him his meal he didnt'move an then i knew he was gone forever we burried him in our backyard where i can stay with him all i wanted.. i have a new dog roach he is pure lab dooby was a mix breed lab chow an i love them all the same they are both black so do'nt cry to much cuz they are always there for you..
