All in the Family

Biography: Bot Bot is my little nephew. He is a Pekingese Pug who is full of life and interested in everything around him. He is our baby, naturally. BotBot is blind, but that does not slow him down at all. He has a ball that chirps like a bird that he chases unmercifully, and he also loves to chase kittens. He is very highly food motivated, and would turn himself inside out for a hot dog. BotBot is 10 years old, and lost his sight at the age of 2 years. When he was 9 years old, we had to have his right eye removed due to damage from an accident. He now has a wink, a wrinkle, and a twinkle. BotBot can understand English, German, Hungarian, and before he lost his sight, he could fluently understand American Sign Language. BotBot is retired now, but used to accompany us on our rounds when my sister and I worked as caregivers. His favorite activities are looooong walks, riding in the car, and powernapping. He also loves listening for the mailman, and he can snore and fart like a bear. We're so proud.
