Good boy Bruin, you saved that ball from drowning! Every newfie deserves to be in water frequently. I grew up with a family of newfs: Honey (the matriarch), Buppy (her entire first litter), Selina, Joey both from her second litter), Shaina, Blaze, and Thumper (all three were Selina's pups). They all had different personalities but they were ALL sweet. Long gone, now. Lots of biscuits and meat and eggs for Bruin, and a whole lot of water :)

Newfoundlands are one of the best breeds to come out of Canada, and Bruin is no exception! Look at this boy working it already. They are terrific dogs, with a heart as big as the world and personality to match. Enjoy this majestic "water" dog in all his glory. (We had one when I was a child.)
