Buddy was given to us by my mom after we lost another Aussie. We got him when he was about 4-5 months old. He was locked in a barn for the first 4 months of his life with little human contact, until he came to us. He does have some issues due to it but not much. He is just very hyper when you try to pet him so you hardly get to pet him as he starts jumping and running around. He has settled down some over the years but still does it. We had tried to rehome him once when he was about 1 year old. He started getting agressive towards our cats and other dog, Spice. 6 months later found him in the shelter so adopted him out, guess he was meant to stay with us. He was abuse by someone while he was away from us and due to it doesn't like men anymore except my husband, as he grew up with us. Being fixed has helped with his agression some since getting him back, but he still fights with our other dog Spice sometimes. He is now blind in one eye, happened while we were away for 3 days last year. Not sure what went on. Anyways he's back with us now and staying. He is abit hyper for me now as the past few years I've gotten some health issues to deal with, but I can't bear to see him in the shelter again. When we get a 4-wheeler again I can start taking them all on runs more for exersize.
