In April 2009, we found a new home for Butch, with small kids and a mom who is home all day. He was a sweet dog but not a good fit for us, unfortunately. We'll miss him.

I e-mailed his new owners the other day. He's been with them two and a half years now. He has kids to play with, and has a buddy (a female American bulldog who loves him, too). He was a much better fit for them and I am glad it's worked out so well.
