Cali is nothing short of an Angel. Her name means most beautiful, and thats what she is. She is a pound pup, I got her two years ago, and I believe she was just a year old then. I was told her previous owners abandoned both her and her mom at the house they moved from. They were abused, neglected and forgotten about. She came to me at 25lbs. Now she is a healthy 55lbs of pure muscle. She has got more energy than the three of my dogs combined, and she LOVES to run. Cali has a huge scar going from the middle of her back to her tummy, an inch thick from her previous home. Its a daily reminder of what she has been through and how she still trusts humankind is unknown, but I'm so thankful. She may be the middle aged one of my group but she is definitely still the biggest baby. Between climbing the rocks on the farm, running along side me and my horses, playing with her little buddy Uly (my dachshund) or tromping through the bush with her mentor Taffy ( Australian Shepherd ), her favourite thing to do is sit beside you and rest her wary head and paw on your lap after a hard days play.
