Carter was my best friend. He passed away about a year ago, at age 5. He lived a happy life, and was one of the sweetest dogs you could wish to meet. Everyone who met him just loved him to pieces. I miss him every day, but I always remember the good times I had with him. On the day of his passing, we noticed he wasn't right first thing in the morning. We immediately brought him to the vet, but at that time I didn't have a method of payment so they turned my dying dog away. It took me about 4 hours to contact my family members out of town to help me pay to get Carter healthy, but by the time we came back to the vet they told us it was too late and my little guy was slipping away. I have always had respect for vets, but I will never be able to understand how they could turn my dog away. They could have saved him. It was one of the hardest days of my life. He was very loyal and was by my side every chance he had. He was a happy dog and brought joy into everyone he met. I hope with this website I can spread his love a little longer.
