Chewie was a Momma's boy from Day One!!!! I often told friends that he was born with the soul of an old dog, and not a puppy...It made me adore him more. He always had a little howl whenever I asked him to "talk to mommy"...so cute!!!! He was stricken with Cushings disease and passed one year later- On May 9/2008. I can't begin to express my heartache!!!! My friend gave me a copy of "The Rainbow Bridge" and although it brought me to tears, I loved it's story!!! My little Katie(our other Shih Tzu) misses him terribly but she seems ok with Ben & Libby!!!!

I am thinking of sweet Chewie today, since it has been one year, since he has passed on. I love the (#5) picture of him, where he is wearing the red heart on his collar! His eyes look so soulful and innocent!
