All in the Family

Biography: We always wanted to get a dog but we weren't sure if the time was right or even what kind of dog we wanted. Then a friend of my husband's asked if we wanted to help save a beagle. A stranger had approached the friend and told him he had found the dog, wasn't from the area and wanted to know if they could try to find his owner. After two weeks, he was still unclaimed, so we decided to scoop him up. It was the best decision we've ever made. We knew the minute we saw him running from the back of the house that he was awesome. He brings such joy to our lives and we joke that he's part human. He loves food (of course), taking walks, sleeping on the couch, going for car rides, and occasionally playing with his little brother, Ratchet. (Clank brought Ratchet into our lives when he found him clinging to life as a 9-ounce newborn, abandoned near our house.)
