All in the Family

Biography: Cody is not so much a puppy, but he is my "first born" and very possibly the best dog in the world! We got Cody 7 years ago from a little pet store in Grants Pass Oregon. He was terrified in his little box and the sign said free pit bull mix. We found it odd that he was free at a pet store. The worker came up and grabbed him out of the box and handed him to me. He was squirming and obviously not into being pet or held or loved! She said "you can have him if you want him" in a disgusted tone. Right there and then I thought, this is a weird little dog but I am getting him out of this place! And I am glad I did! He is the very best dog. Super smart and sweet. We call him the Captain. He takes a while to warm up to new people but he is doing a million times better. I think his brothers help a lot!
