All in the Family

Biography: Last night Allen and I took our last trip to the Vet. Hospital with Contessa. Tessa was a loving and lovely little lady until the very end. R.I.P. 6/6/1997-11/24/2011. I like to think of her reunited with her friend Duchess. Our hearts have been indelibly touched by the accepting love of Tessa. Tessa and Duchess will live in our hearts forever. --------- Contessa is a lovely little girl who loves to cuddle, you'd never guess she loves to gut the squeakers out of her toys. Tessa loves the garden in the spring and to walk along the river in nice weather. She hates the rain and considers wet paws an unacceptable condition. She must be physically lifted outside on rainy days. Contessa was adopted from our local SPCA. We already had one dog, a loving cocker spaniel, Duchess, when Contessa joined our family as a wonderful addition and we can't imagine our family without her.
