My first mastiff, a Cane Corso - a magnificent looking dog. She was good with people but terribly dog aggressive. I managed with her for eight years before an abscessed tooth infected her entire jaw and I put her down. She was beautiful but bred with really bad nerves. She was unpredictable. I was resting on the sofa one evening and, out of the blue, she attacked my little Shih Tzu and broke her jaw!
