Dexter is our Christmas puppy. I surprised my husband at the airport with him (after putting a big red bow around his neck) and couldn't think of anything else to say but, "Merry Christmas." You can't help but fall in love with this little guy. He is such a sweetheart and to this day, swears he's a lap dog. Annie and Dexter are completely inseparable. Dexter is not your typical Golden. He would much rather lay in your lap or sleep under a shade tree than go chase balls or sticks. Annie has taught him that swimming can be fun, but if he gets tired he doesn't hesitate to take a nap. We often say that he has his head in the clouds. His favorite part of the day is at night when he gets invited up on the couch and gets to snuggle with me.
