All in the Family

Biography: We adopted Dodger from a rescue in California. His original owners had adopted him from a shelter where he had first been recovered as a stray. They were unable to keep him, so they took him to a no-kill rescue... that is where we met this amazing dog. We went into our local PetSmart to buy 20lbs. of dog food and we walked out with 40lbs of dog food and a puppy! My husband was the first to fall for him. I wasn't so sure we were ready for another dog but when I saw the look in my husband's eyes, I knew he was hooked. And when the kids saw the puppy there was no going back. Ultimately, it must have been fate! What a great choice, Dodger is such a calming presence and he gets along beautifully with his new big sister Savanna. Dodger is a wonderful addition to our family!
