Dooley

Bichon Frise

This is Dooley, the family's second Bichon. I thought that his arrival came too soon after the death of beloved Georgia, but he has won over our hearts. His personality and mannerisms are quite different from Georgia's. He is programmed to play and roughhouse. Zoey humors him some of the time and they like to wrestle. Dooley has major separation anxiety and cries when anyone leaves his sight. He is still working on the potty training, and is a pro at going on walks! He loves to chew on shoes! Dooley is quickly becoming a little love bundle.

I wouldn't worry about getting a dog too soon after Georgia's passing. I had Maggie still when I got Piper. I couldn't stand the thought of not having a dog. I can totally understand why you got him. He is ADORABLE!

Dooley, you are entirely TOO cute, little one!! I agree with PipermyPoodle as well as Dooley's owner. I couldn't ever imagine life without a dog but I had nearly 2.5 years between my Fluffy & Foxy, the little Pomeranian in my picture. It was unbelievably hard, lonely and sad without a dog in my life, but I had to give myself some emotional space as well as time to start a new life. I have a feeling even though you feel that you got Dooley too soon, in the long run you're better off because you got him when you did. He won't ever "replace" your little Georgia but he will heal the hole left by her passing. Blessings to all of you!
