Dutchess (RIP)

Doggydaddy
German Shepherd Dog
Female
No

After my GSD Wicht died, I rescued Dutchess. She was about 4 years old, had been bred too many times and had spent her life in a kennel. I looked at many GSD's that day and none of them really felt like the right one. Then Dutchess was brought out. It was like time stopped, she and I looked at each other and knew we were meant to be.I took her home that day and she never left my side until December 26, 2007. She became very ill in October of that year and we finally decided for her sake to send her to the "Bridge" the day after Christmas. She was a wonderful dog without a mean bone in her body. She loved everyone she met and slept next to me on the bed every night. She was 7 years old when she went to the "Bridge" and I still think about her. Dutchess wasn't my first GSD and she won't be my last, but she has a place in my heart and I miss her.
