Elle von Eslingen is a pretty and so sweet 8 year old German Shepherd. This sweet senior girl just wants the simple things in life - a soft place to sleep in a home with a family of her own to love. It’s doubly hard on these wonderful senior dogs to be abandoned in a cold, hard shelter after giving their love and devotion to a family who now doesn’t care whether they live or die. Senior dogs are so easy – no puppy antics - and so rewarding. Elle also seems to get along well with cats and she’s a wonderful choice for someone looking for a devoted companion.

It makes me cry to think someone would just dump this dog. Elle looks like such a devoted loving dog, I have two 14 yo dogs, and could never imagine dumping them. I'd live in a tent first.

I just had to comment here too! Elle, beautiful girl who deserves all the love & kindness your heart desires. I am soooooooo thankful that you are in a safe place and you will be adopted sweetheart because someone out there is going to read your story, take one look into those soulful eyes and want you immediately. If we didn't live sooooooooo far away in Ontario you'd be here with us, our 3 dogs & 3 cats!!!! Thank you, thank you for the work you do, Angel of Rescues is what your organization is!!!
