Thanks, but since my Mommy just had major surgery, she can't bake me a meatloaf birthday cake. I know she'll do it when she can walk again. Right now, I am busy sitting by her side and watching out for her in case she needs someone to help her. And I've been looking after the other 2, they are younger and sometimes get out of control, then I have to remind them that right now is not a good time.

Thanks to everybody. I can tell though that I am not as young as the other girls are. My steps have slowed down, my Mommy has to give me aspiring every so often so my arthritis won't hurt so bad. I used to love the snow and the cold weather, especially now with all the leaves down. I remember when I used to help Mom clean them up, but now those times have passed. I sit there and watch the other two. Also, Mom has found out that I have a very bad cataract on the other eye now. Not the one they had to kill off, so I am pretty much blind for the most part. When I am outside after dark, I wait in the yard for Moms voice, then I can follow it, as soonas I am up on the deck, things are easier. I am very lucky that my Mom knows how to deal with blind people, I hear her talk about someone called grandma, not sure what that word means, but Mom sounds pretty happy when she talks about this person. This person was blind, so now everything she did for her, she is doing for me. That is so nice, I don't have to worry about running into things, because Mom won't move anything around. It all stays the same. When I was younger, she used to rearrange the living room or her bedroom all the time, but not anymore. Also, now that I am older, I am pretty scared of thunder and lightening and those stupid firecrackers. The Dr gave me some pills, but again, my Mom was smarted, I don't need the pill, I only need to be close to her. So, when it gets loud outside, she lifts me on her bed (but I have to help her, I put a few pounds on, too many snacks I think), then she has her robe that has a nice smell all over it, in the corner and I just dig myself in, and go to sleep. I'm not scared when I am right next to Mom, she won't let anything happen to me, I don't need those pills. She bought me a nice big, fluffy bed, but I don't like it. She even put it in her room, but I prefer to sleep on the floor in the hallway. Maybe in the winter time when it gets real cold, I'll sleep on it, till then Sammy can borrow it. But I am pretty lucky where I live. Except Mom and us are moving downstairs. And I am a
