Emily was adopted in May 2011. She is a Lab/Golden Retriever/Pit Bull mix and is a joy. She was one in February 2012. We nearly lost her Wednesday night, 5/2. She and Bella were playing with an Albuterol inhaler and Emily accidentally punctured the cannister. She had to be taken to the Animal Hospital because she apparently ingested 400 mcg of the medicine, which was a lethal dose. But fortunately, we got her there in time and she is back to her beautiful playful self today. Talk about being scared? My heart broke in two because she is the sweetest dog that I've ever known. Even though she is still a puppy, she still likes to take things and chew on them. It was an accident so we are "child proofing" our home this weekend because we love our babies too much to have something happen to any of them.
