I adopted Gaia, along with her sister Marley, about 3 years ago from a near by animal rescue. They were the last two left out of the litter and 6-7 weeks old. I was told when originally coming to adopt Gaia (who's name was Brie at the time) that she was German Shepherd and Grate Dane Mix. I highly doubt this for several reasons but who knows?! Gaia tends to be the 'protector' of the two and more dominant but still is very 'worried' dog. She looks like she has taken on 1/2 of my stresses (which is a lot). I love her (& Marley of course) dearly. I am grateful to have these 2 dogs to come home to; who are so well behaved, loyal and who always love unconditionally and with out judgement. Which is more than I can say for a lot of people!
