All in the Family

Biography: We adopted Gracie in October of 2001 from the Fairfax Animal Shelter. She was just a year old then and weighed a lot less but we couldn't be happier for her to become our first dog. She immediately became a part of the family and easily could be the 4th child. She loves to sleep all day, eat whatever food she can find, (especially pizza and waffles) and keeping an eye out for the deer who try to move into her backyard. She has had both her back ACLs replaced but you'd never guess by how quickly she will beat you to the table for your pizza. We love her so much, even if she greatly reminds us of her favorite movie character: Dug from Up. She loves when it snows probably more than other dogs, because she has learned to play catch by herself. She also might be the only dog that loves getting her teeth brushed, we think she'd eat all the toothpaste if she could. We don't know what we'd do with out her and can't remember our lives before she became apart of our family.
