This is a tribute to little Hector's #1 memory, who died so young and innocent, so unexpectedly .....! He was playful, sweet, intelligent and lovable. He was brought from Hungary to our country for a chain of pet-shops.We got him, loved and adored him and lost him very unexpectedly at the age of 17 months, when he suddenly tugged at his lead and set himself free from my daughter's grasp, trying to follow a stray dog, run into the street and was hit by a fast running car !He died after 10 hours of terrible pain and agony, trying to breathe. The only reason we didn't have him put to sleep instantly after the accident, was that the vet gave us hope that he might survive the accident with proper care.
