We adopted Herb from the Humane Society and had him for only about two weeks. We felt like something was wrong from the beginnng. He seemed too calm. So, we took him to the vet the next day. He told us he was just in shock, he had spent about a week in the shelter and has also just been neutered. The next day he started coughing. Kennel cough. Then, despite the medicine and force feeding, and multiple vet visits, he developed pneumonia and died.
