All in the Family

Soft Coated Wheaten Terrier

Hearing those words from the vet first thing in the morning was like nothing I've ever felt. Hobbes was an amazing dog. I can't honestly say he was the perfect dog, but he was the perfect dog for our family. He was my heart. Easiest dog to own and to love. Laid back, absolutely loved people (but not too many at once). He died on March 21st 2010 at 12.5 years old after barely a week of being sick. He acted like a puppy right up until the evening of March 17th. It was the most heart wrenching thing I ever had to go through, knowing that he was alone and we didn't even get to say goodbye. Although it took a long time to accept, I still miss him everyday. I know he is in Rainbow Bridge happy, healthy and playing with all his buddies. And that makes me smile.

I'm so sorry to her about Hobbes he was so cute. I like to think that he went to doggie heaven and as long as you remember Him he will always be with you. May you rest in peace Hobbes.

It's amazing how deep our love goes for our 4-legged critters. Hobbes sounds like he was the love of your life and I truly understand your heartache. It does pass in time but I can say that memories of him will always warm your heart. Look forward to meeting him again with a smile on your face... at the Rainbow Bridge. He'll be there waiting for you.
